Senior Wealth Advisor Mike thoroughly enjoys a 25+ year career as a Professional Wealth Advisor, having successfully completed his Canadian Securities Course with Honours and becoming licensed in 1997. He subsequently accomplished his Professional Financial Planning accreditation and embarked on building his practice. Mike received his training at Merrill Lynch Canada, and after spending a few years with that firm, continued to grow his business over 10 years with a smaller boutique firm, then most recently joining IPC Securities Corp in Fall of 2013.
Mike's greatest strength is his ability to connect with people in a personalized, compassionate and genuine approach, taking the time to listen carefully to understand their individual story. Mike then creates a disciplined, thoughtful strategy that matches his clients' objectives for building and protecting their wealth. This wealth management approach aligns client values with his own and creates an open, honest, and transparent professional relationship that is long-lasting and mutually respectful.
Mike has a specialty area of professional service within his practice. He provides expertise to Condominium Corporations who value advise on Cash Flow planning & Investment solutions that offer superior interest returns for their Reserve Fund assets. Mike and his team are very proud to work with hundreds of Condo Boards and Property Managers providing stewardship of more than $70 million of reserve fund assets, all 100% insured and in compliance with the Condo Act legislation.
Personal Me
Mike leads a healthy and active lifestyle with his two dogs Duke and Murphy enjoying all that the Niagara region has to offer. He plays golf and is an avid traveler, exploring adventurous destinations to learn about different cultures. He takes great pleasure in fine food and wine from around the globe.
Volunteering time and expertise to Charities and his community has always been an important element of Mike's life. He is particularly proud of his successful completion 3 times of the 200km bicycle 'Ride to Conquer Cancer', personally raising over $10,000 for cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital.
